Turn on Preview features
Required permissions
Accounts assigned the following Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) roles can turn on Microsoft 365 Defender Preview features:
- Global administrator
- Security administrator
- Security Operator
Turn on the preview experience
- In the navigation pane, select Settings.
- Select Microsoft 365 Defender.
- Select Preview features > Turn on preview features.
- Select Save.
Preview the new portal
You can find all the menus from https://security.microsoft.com/ when you open the portal you will see these additions.
